before sitting down to eat dinner, jasper saw a candy cane laying on the dining table.
"can i have some mommy? can i have some of that candy cane?"
"let's see how well you eat your dinner"
all throughout dinner, jasper would ask if he could have the candy cane. all throughout dinner my response was, "let me think about it." even while he pooped after dinner, he would call of from the bathroom, "are you done thinking about it mommy?" "no not yet, i'm still thinking" i would shout back.
after he finished eating and pooping, he sat down at the table with me while i cut him and milo some fresh fruit.
"can i have some candy cane mommy?"
"jasper, do you really want me to answer now?"
"yeah."
"well, if you're going to make me answer now, then i'm going to have to say no."
silence
"ok mommy. you can answer me later."
